just a general question as to whom i can see out there when they open.

 

I do in the heads-up radial class.

 

I will be going to a "test and tune" some time this spring to see what my car will run for the first time after the motor tear down!

 

I'll be there sitting in those hour+ long lines on Wednesday Test & Tune nights, only to blow the tires off the line.

Not that I am complaining

 

i plan on attending some no E.T.s this year

 

I'm hoping to make it there this year.

 

There is a big event that is taking place in July called the Motor City Rumble. It is an LTX and LSX shootout. Minimum ET time of 11.99 and under. I plan on participating, and have some buddies that are going as well.

 

I'm with you on that one. Those are a blast!!! No safety equipment required, but my car only runs 14's anyways.

 

I might make it out there a couple of times, probably to spectate. After racing at stanton, I hate to pay good money to milan for long lines and few runs.

my last 4 trips to milan I only got to make 1 run each. that sucks.
Ive gone to a few of the No ET and paid more money and still only got in like 1 pass.

but i will still probably be back for this season.
I will also be running up at stanton for the street tire shootouts.

 

I would but not if I'm only going to get 1-3 passes for the day.

 

I try to get down there once or twice each year for the occasional club event. My father in law is a member of the Royal Pontiac club (though he owns a Buick -- it doesn't matter, because the club president usually brings his C5Z) and he often brings me as a guest. You can usually get 10+ runs that way.

 

One Friday night I got 12 runs in. That was pretty awesome. I have a lot of work to do before opening day! We should all make plans to go for opening day! Need to get into the 11s at least for the Motor City Rumble.
