ok, so what did I miss?

As you might remember, last saturday night I had a game of BF1942 scheduled. I decided to go ahead and get my computer stuff swapped out that I had been planning. I was having horrible stability problems and it took me most if the night to try and work them out. Well, finally the power supply quit on me, smoking the new motherboard in the process. Of course it couldn't have done it the night before. During the day saturday there was a computer show in Kalamazoo which is fairly close by.
So, the next day I jumped on my mother in law's computer. An old Celeron 466mhz on a dialup line. ick. But I did some looking around and found a good deal from Noble PCs out of Valparaiso IN. There were a few better prices, but they either had poor ratings on resellerratings.com, or they were out in CA... and I figured since Noble was just over in Valparaiso, I could have it by tuesday without paying any extra shipping.
Tuesday arrives, and so does the power supply. I get it all hooked up... and nothing happens. So I figure it might be the power switch. I pulled it ou and took it apart. It seemed fine. I swapped out RAM, CPUs, and 3 different motherboards. Finally I deemed the brand new PSU as DOA.
I got an RMA and sent it back to Noble, they sent me a replacement the same day they received my old one, which I got today. Happy to say it works! And after a week, I am finally back up and running. Hopefully I will come out of the withdrawal shakes soon
Anyone needing pc parts, I would recommend Noble PC if you want great service and support. I got a real nice "Premier" brand PSU, 450 watt, ATX v2.03, with twin ball bearing fans and all in a chrome case (I'm sure it looks pretty inside my closed case ) all for $45. 5 year manufacturer warranty too, so hopefully I won't have to buy new ones every 3 months anymore...

So...what did I miss?

Sounds good. I expected a bit more though. Man it just seems like the horspower per dollar ratio on these things are crazy. You have a lot of money into your car and are only 70hp up over stock. My red car was nearly 300rwhp on the same dyno with just an ignition, cai, free mods, 52mm tb, and pcm tuning.
I think your suspicions on those heads may be well founded

Exactly, that's why I said in a different post that if I had to do it all over again I would go forced induction. For half of what I have spent I could probably have 60-80 horsepower more.

I am kind of afraid to pull the heads off because I will probably find out that they are either still my stock heads or I paid $1500 for a pile of crap from MMC. Because with it being 3+ years since they were put on, I don't think there is any way I could go back on Mike for the money back.

I still have a set of bare heads here in the basement that I may get ported eventually to replace the ones that are on there. But if I can run in the 11's I guess I will be happy since this car is not going to be a drag car, I am most likely going to pull the QA1 shocks & springs off next year and go with something more designed for handling (Bilteins, Koni).

Yeah, but that was before my marriage threatening mod fest. Just cant run them with N2O yet, I dont have mine yet Man, I hope the rearend can take this. I am not going to replace it till I actually break it. We will have to set a date, and a track. If I havent already been kicked off all the Michigan tracks for lack of a bar in a vert
