You KNOW I'll be there!
Hopefully right up against the wall, about even with the Christmas tree, videotaping all the mad-wicked-awesome wheelstands.

youll know it when you see it...it will take first in the nps class most likely.

but if your still not sure which one it is...look for the bright orange Camaro (not factory hugger orange) with the gunmetal chassis and the greibeck racecraft decals on the back window...the car has no decals on its body. It also has a flamed NX logo on the windshield but im sure lots of the other cars will have the same one. Hes got a full nos set up.Its hood has a huge scoop on it with a purple Moran Racing decal on it and its held on with dzues fastners. Its running the new Weld forged rims and has full carbon fiber wheel tubs. The passenger seat is stitched with red flames and the floor pan has a hammered finish. It has chrome wheelie bars out the back and a custom molded liscence plate off to the drivers side below the chute. The motor has the signiture purple moran racing valve cover on it and bay chassis is molded into the towers and color matched. It will roll out of a black trailor which reads on the back "Rob Golobos Record setting nps 02 camaro" with a big Bow Tie in orange (I made the decals for it last week ) and will be towed in by a huge turbo deisel ford with "powered by: Garret" stickers on the back window

Its driven and owned by Rob Golobo. His mechanics name is Bill. His brother Rick might be out there with his 67 vette running in the same class...its all maroon with some really trick multi colored flames on it. He had some braking issues last weekens and from what I heard ended up with some body damage so he may not be out this race???

is that specific enough for you??

Yeah I was there for that. That vette is pure insane. What else can be said? If he hadn't crashed I might have gotten my last run in...then again, if the 70 nova hadn't oil slicked the track I might have gotten TWO more runs in....

I think it was a dark red (burgundy) convertible. We got stopped right after the nove went up there and the guy running the lanes moved over to the next two lanes and started letting them line up. they never got to run either though

Ya gonna put any stickers on it? SERIOUSLY, that is the only way you can make money by winning a National Event. Just go to the NMCA website and look at their Contingency Sponsors, see what you have in/on your car and put those stickers on. Can be put on GLASS only. I figure I have $1650.00 in cont. money, if I was to win.

Both years I went, I qualified at #5. First year out of 8 cars, next year out of 9 cars.

Hink's idea of contingency: Wrap your car in gay pride rainbow stickers. Stand by the car just off the return road and try to pick up guys. You also might find him walking down manufacturer alley, cutting in front of you while throwing a spark plug down on the ground and stopping abruptly. This is how Hink tries to get paid at a race!!

As far as my car, I might be able to put the Weld Wheels sticker on there, Hoosier, AutoMeter, maybe a Moroso sticker, my 28" tall Type R sticker and a couple others. I have to double check the contingency chart first.

I was #1 qualifier there last year with the help of Jeffs tuning. Just sold my car today, so I wont be making this one. Impala SS is not race ready yet.
Hey Steve, why dont you spray that thing and whip on Merkle during the EFI shootout? You are our only hope to beat his mid nines.
