NMCA Event at US 131 this weekend

I know it's only Monday, but I'm just wondering if anyone is thinking about going? I won't be racing (duh, I don't have a really fast muscle car), but I'll be there spectating...

Naaah, decided not to go. I just don't feel like driving way up there, and more than one person has told me that the ricers are ruining it. Maybe some other year I'll go.

Exclamation Ahhhh Haaaa...

I sooo wanted to go and race but alas, money keeps me home!
You will see some seriously fast cars, probably a few nitrous explosions, a lot of tire shake and gettin' sideways!

Best place to sit is ALWAYS close to the starting line and up in the air a bit!

Have FUN, 'cause I KNOW you WILL!

It's coming along pretty good. I got the driveshaft installed last Thursday. Got a magnetic angle meter from work so I am going to measure the pinion angle when I get home and sketch up a rear DS loop that will use the mounting holes for the rear seatbelts. Then the car is back on the ground. I am going to stop at Advance Auto on Westnedge and order some NGK TR6 spark plugs for the nitrous. Then it's a matter of wiring the switches and plumbing the purge and we are done. Most likely July 2nd will be the maiden voyage down the track.

Sure Taner I'd be interested in the part number. I just ordered the normal TR6 (4177) from Advanced Autoparts today for $1.69 each.

Hink, admit it, the rainbow pride sticker couldn't come off the car and you were afraid of getting *** packed by a rough crowd.

As for me, I'll be racing in one of the EFI classes. I'm not sure how much I want to sandbag though to determine if I'll be in class D, E or F. I'll be down there Friday afternoon for early tech and then running TNT.

I was going to race EFI but with the new higher entry fees I'm going to pass. $100 to race for a $500 purse.
I'll be a the Street tire shootout at Stanton that Saturday night.
$25 to race for a $800 purse

I'll be there. $500 if you win, with no stickers, with the right stickers its more like $3k. plus they pay down to the 1/8's
