I was going to ask if anyone in the area did die cut vinyl for stickers, etc. The stickers on the cafe press site REALLY need some work

Thats the dilemma with any picture though. I just put mine up there because thats what I had when I made the site. If I were to put up Q's Camaro, people would come and and think "Whats this? A Camaro only club?" Thats the key reason there are no car images in the logo. We are trying to remain as generic as possible to attract as many people as we can.

The site/club has a lot of potential and you're headed in the right direction. I'm sure it could become huge if you guys keep at it. I think you need a better logo and site design though. At first glance it gives the impression of "hi we're a tiny car club and we don't really do anything".... I know thats not the message you want to convey and by just sprucing up the site and adding content you could make the club seem huge without it really being huge (sorry if that doesn't make sense... I'm almost confusing myself). Let me know if you want any assistance with the design aspect... that's what I do best and I've got a ****load of free time on my hands now that I'm done with school. I'd love to be part of something like this.

The gear is cool... cafepress rocks, even though their prices are a little high. Their products are top notch though.

edit: it's convertible, not Convetable (members page)
Thanks for the feedback. I changed the members page convertible. Must have had a brain fart that day. If you feel up to it, we could use your help (or anyones for that matter) in coming up with new ideas for logos and layout. Any and all suggestions, comments or contributions are welcome!

As for the vinyl, that would kick ***! I think we need to get a better logo and/or finalized motto before we start doing anything though.

I know someone who does vinyl signs, t-shirts, stuff like that. I bet I could work out some sort of hookup with him, he's a cool guy. And hey, he already does a sh!tload of car-related merchandising anyway, so if we had logos or something that we wanted to incorporate, I bet he could help with that.

Excellent ideas Melissa. Maybe someday we can rate with tastee cherry WE would love a hand in this, we rushed this thing together in about 2 weeks or less. We knew people would use it and kinda wanted to hurry. You will see changes almost every day as we tweak it and make it better. Log on and see if you can do something for us.

Thanks

I went ahead and picked up a T shirt ($15) and a license plate frame ($11)

Seems pretty reasonable to me.
$13 for a coffee mug and reasonable don't even fit in the same sentence.

I would agree Al. Some of the prices are out in left field, but we dont get to control them a whole lot. Cafepress has a base price for everything that they charge to cover their expenses, and then we can raise it from there to generate some profit. I think the most anything on our site is raised is $1.

If you don't like the prices, then don't buy anything. But you got to remember that most of these places are in business to make money. It' the American way.

At least make a few bucks to pay for the server space everyyear. That is the only real financial goal we have right now. But Chris is right, the most anything is marked up is buck. Somethings are less then that. Hopefully we will have the new logo up soon, maybe that will entice you to pry that wallet open.
