Planning a build either a 408 or 414,418 whichever it is. Anyone have one or know of one or a place to get one. Pretty common block can't seem to find one, but haven't looked TOO hard.

I would recommend a LS2 block. Same bore ,but aluminum

Depends on what you are after. The iron block is a dam good block, and will handle all that you can throw at it. You can get the block from Sean @ SMP, in Pontiac. 248-276-0483. That's where I got my block from . He has numerous GM parts that you will need for your build. Good luck.

 

Another vote for Sean at SMP, he will be able to get most of the Gen3/4 parts you need.
