Thumbs up My Autorama thanks and Highlights!!

First let me say Autorama was HUGE, my first time ever being there and it was an amazing show with some AWESOME vehicles, if you couldnt make it, try to next year!

I would like to thank some people for the help that I definantly needed this weekend in order to scramble together something halfway decent.
Dave-
Thanks for coming through for me and getting the carpet and stantions, and also for the help last night, without those first 2 things buddy I wouldnt have gotten it done.

Daren-
Thank you for the help with all the misc. things that continued throughout the weekend(covering the car, taking zaino off, checking it while im gone, making me aware of the things that take place there) It definantly made it alot easier than trying to guess everything, thanks again bud.

Amanda-
Thank you too for helping with anything that needed to be done, helping tape the carpet, hauling stuff back and forth, keeping me company while Daren was running like a chicken with his head cut off! And also for helping me last night get all the items over to Daren's car from my trailer.

It was a tough weekend, and I was very very tired through the whole thing. Had 3 days to get the car presentable before the show, and really I COULD NOT have had it done without everyones help, if Im forgetting someone I am sorry, but thank you.

I ended up walking home with:
1st Place in the Contemporary Class and
Overall Oustanding Contemporary Vehicle along with $125

I was very surprised, and honored to take anythig home from that show, it made it all worthwhile. Once again thank you everyone again, hope to do it all again next year!!

Regards
Andy

I really wish i could have made it but with the snow we had I spent a lot of the day first digging myself out then headin over to my parents to get their driveway clean. You'd think with all their money they'd just hire someone

Andy the car looked great. I am sure the polished LS6 intake did it for you.

Congrats Andy,

I have to add that Andy had the worst place in the show also.....under the people mover. It was leaving dust and water(rust) spots all day long and all night on the car and he still managed to place 1st in his class and take the outstanding award.

He was up against some heavy modified competition also. Steve Franks white Saleen Mustang(that looked AWESOME), and a very cool painted Grand Prix with tons of modifications.

Congrats again.... and you wanted to leave early during the awards...LMAO!!! See I told you....

Thanks Andy,

Ya, my blood pressure was up there. Plus the fact that I had to go to the bathroom after 30 minutes in a 3 hour presentation. I never thought I would get 1st in my category let alone place anywhere in that field. It was my first major car show and I didn't know what to expect. I'm use to going down a track. Car shows are much harder then people realize. I'll stick to the track where I can relax a little bit.
