MSD Window Switch
I need a MSD window switch to help me find a "Gremlin"
in my system. I don't think mine is working right and I want to swap it out to help me get this figured out. I need to eliminate some variables... It needs to be ready to go on an LS1.
let me know,
Thanks,
Eric

Heh Al,
been OK I guess but a bunch has happened since we've talked last. Had a real full docket this summer on the home front and I won't even go there. The car has been a real story as well. The short version is:
Put H&C, intake, injectors etc. in the car over the winter. Took it to some people we all know in north east Detroit for tuning. The dyno only showed 1 hp gain.
WUWT? They were not helpful and had no explanation our support in trying to help me. Just charged me lots of money for "Don't know what to tell ya". I was big time bummed and it gets worse. The car sounded good and felt strong so I took it to the track and was able to make a 10.69 pass
so then I was beginning to think that dyno or not the car is making more power. Maybe because of the loose converter or something, I don't know. Well a couple of 10.70 passes later and it went bad. Long story short. Burnt valves, scored cylinders, etc. Big mess.
well,I put it in the box and took it over to Wade at ARE and he and the guys over there jumped on it and got it back together in no time. I am just now trying to get back to the track but have a couple of Gremins on un associated systems that I want to take care of first.
Wade was very helpful and took a real personal interest in it. I cannot speak highly enough of their support. On the contrary, I cannot say enough negative things about the other guys. Wade showed me the differences in his tuning and the tuning I had been sold and contributes that difference as the primary cause. So my advise- go to ARE,,-it's worth the drive.
I hope to be bug free and in good shape by M-8. Probably will see you at T&T a couple times before then.
later,
Eric
