Michigan People

I'm trying to get some people to head to the track wednesday. It's US 131 motorsport parkways last test and tune for the year so i'll be going along with a few other people. Was just hoping that i could get some people on here to show up too. It's about 20 minutes north of Kalamazoo on Us131 free way. You can see it to your left from the free way. It's the martin exit.

Stuff like this belongs on the "Michigan/Great Lakes...." forum. Not here on "LT1 Engine Tech".

Last T&T WTF. Stanton is open 'till the end of October.

If you do go to Martin go early if you actually want to run your car. Last time we went, after 7pm the lane lines were back into the pit area.

Last time I went it was on a friday night (Sept 3rd I think) and you could get in as many runs as you wanted. There were never more then 8 cars in front of you. And many times there were open times where noone was in line at all.

Sucks that this is the last TnT... This weekend they have some 1/8th mile charity event or something going on. With only 1/4 mile tracks around here, who has their car setup for 1/8th mile?

I'll hit stanton the rest of the season

Re: Michigan People

I went last Wednesday night and I did get there early. Wasn't necessary though. Everytime I pulled up in the staging lanes, the most I waited was like 3 or 4 passes before I was up. I actually spent a lot of time watching.

Re: Michigan People

Well i went last night and got 4 runs in despite it being as busy as i think i've ever seen it. Really dissapointed though because the best i could muster was a 13.0@109 with a 2.225 60ft. I just cant drive..lol. I'm running 275 radials too so i think i just need more practice. I was hoping for a better et with my heads/cam but i'm getting 7 degrees of knock that i have to take care of with a tune or something. bah well, better luck next time.

you're in the upper 12s, your car just doesn't know it yet. get some sticky tires and try again. Get that 60' to around 1.8-1.9 and you'll be looking at probably a 12.8-12.9 at around 107-ish.
