Alright guys, it's that time again to plan for the Fall get together for MiFbody. Those that came to the "Spring" meet and greet June 10th know how it went: WE HAD 88 FBODIES THERE!!! This time we're setting the record higher. Last time our record was to have 50 fbodies... this time we're doubling it again: 100 FBodies! I think we can easilly do it considering the exponential growth in the community site that we've experienced. In any case, as always, the main goal of MiFbody.com was to UNITED ALL FBODY OWNERS IN MICHIGAN. So the invitation is to anyone that reads this, September 23rd in downtown Lansing, "Cruising the Gut" we'll have city blocks reserved ONLY FOR FBODIES That's right, entire city blocks ONLY FOR US!

Offical Michigan F-Body FALL Meet and Greet
Date: September 23, 2006 from 4pm till 10pm
Location: Downtown Lansing, MI
In co-ordination with the Producer of the Lansing "Cruisin' the GUT" car show.

Craig Parrish , the show producer, has agreed to work with our Association to block off as many street blocks we need to have our own " F-BODY" get together, during his September event.

This location will allow "every F-Body in the State" to cruise-in, at any time you can make it, and not worry about parking together, etc.

Eastside, Westside, BayCity Boys, Traverse City Guys??? Every where...

I'll be out there - but not with an F-Body. A few Mustangs will probably make a showing though

 

Last time I went to cruise the gut, I got yelled at several times by bystanders who said the Lansing event was only for cars TWENTY_FIVE YEARS AND OLDER. It took the fun out of it and I decided not to return until 2009. Have they changed their tune since 2004??

 

Well, it's still meant to be for classics -- that's why the FBodies will have their own city blocks off the main path of the classics. Instead of being a straight line of like 5 city blocks, it'll be a 2 city blocks wide by 5 city blocks long, or something like that.

 

Uhm. I have been going to the show for a while now, and went to the first one this summer.... And We didn't get any **** - in fact, there were quite a few cars there that were not 25 years old, hell, lots of cars that weren't even 10 years old! They put the newer cars together.

 

Besides - whos to say your car isn't an 82 that was built in 1981 for the new model year with newer body paneling? hahah

of course ill be there brian!! and by the sounds of it where bringing alot of cars from bay city/saginaw! hopefully i dont break this time

 

w00t we're just under a month away now.

 

couple weeks away, there's going to be a good amount of fbodies there for as late in the season as it is. We'll probably have atleast 30-40 fbodies at the very least. there's going to be 10+ of us all convoying to the car show from the East side of Detroit (meeting up around 12 and Van Dyke, by 696) and then heading out to Lansing. The show doesn't start until 5, we'll be there at 4pm and have enough time to coordinate with the Western Michigan Camaro Club, Bay City Rides, and some other groups too! C'mon out and have a good time, it's a nice trip and should be a lot of fun!

 

I would be there but my wedding is that day.

Wish me luck, cause after that she techinically owns 1 of my 2 camaros and half my house.
