Does anybody know of any 'adult education' type auto mechanics classes on the west side of Detroit (ie Livonia, Novi, Milford etc.)?

There is a class of sorts in Royal Oak, where people sign up, and basically wrench on their rides, under the supervision of a master mechanic. I believe it is sponsored of sorts through the Royal Oak school district. It's one night a week for 15 wks or so.

Just curious if anybody knew of anything similar on the west side of town.

I certainly need to learn more about the mechanical end of things.

William D. Ford Technical Center( I think that is the name, it used to vocational technical center) is in westland, they have a night class in auto tech you can take, it is located on Marquette St., right next to John Glenn High School, between Wayne Rd and Newburg
