M9 event NEW INFO! (track open all day)
SOrry for the new thread but I wanted this to stand out.
The Michigan Lightning Owners club has rented STANTON the MORNING of the M9 event.
We are opening the track to everyone.
However, if you want to race there is a fee for that and if not, there is a nominal spectator fee.
why would you want to get there early?
Livernois will be there with their Dyno, so you can get your dyno runs and last minute tuning done early.
I don't want to interfere with any schedule or plans that have already been set, however we need more people to cover the cost of the track rental. the other clubs we generally invite have other committments and we are low on numbers.
If you would like to show up early, please shoot CHUCK (MILOC President) an E-mail giving him a heads up. LightningSVT@Comcast.net
Here is athread with the info http://www.miloc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1118
All are welcome to watch, use the dyno, or race.
Make it an entire day and we'll see you there.

Re: M9 event NEW INFO! (track open all day)
Cool, a lot of people already know about this, but I'll bet that this thread will inform more.
However, there are a couple of things I'd like to point out...
The dyno will be there for both events.
There is an M9 Pre-event luncheon at 1:30pm in Ionia, check this thread for details in case you somehow missed it:

Don't want anyone to forget about that.
If you don't plan on going to the luncheon, definitely try to hit the first event as well to get a full day in. Just don't break your car and miss out on M9!
Also, for those of you who are planning on attending both events, in this situation the track usually asks everyone who is in the first event to leave the track through the exit and go right back around to the entry gate for get into M9 and get your entry wristband. I think they will let you leave your race cars in the parking lot when this happens, though.
This will be a very good day for racing!
