looks like i may have to buy another one if i can't figure out what's going on here. took the stock off and put on a HO. alt that had problems and had to be pulled. i thought my buddy used my old stocker so i made an older one fit. well since the rear tapped hole didn't line up i didn't use the rear support and now i have a cracked alt. bracket and my belt slips off when i turn too hard!

went to put what i thought was the stock one on and it was hitting the valve cover?! so i put this one back on.

anybody got a stock one they could let go cheap? as long as it works, i don't mind high milage on it, i'm going to get my HO. fixed but want to take the car to stanton.

thanks guys, i'll let you know, turns out the lower ear of the bracket completely broke. i have to have it welded and try the one i believe to be the stock one. i think my buddy may have rotated the rear casing, i rotated it correctly and have to see if it works. if it turns out dead then i'll get ahold of you.
