that would explain why he won't go into detail.........if he hit the camaro we should all feel so sorry that he wants to set his "baby" on fire.

no one knows what happened?

Well, basically, since this post started with "from what I understand the car was hit by an eclipse" don't be stupid and assume anything. Not even the originator of this thread really knows what happened.

I obviously, don't know what happened either, but, it's a lot easier to lose control of a RWD 310hp car than a 200hp, FWD, automatic.

Until we find out who hit who, best to keep our mouths shut.

Sounds like the Camaro threw too much nitrous at it and didn't know when to lift. It's a shame for both guys involved if you ask me.

I had missed the scene, but I was told by two people(I think they were buddy's) that it was the Eclpises fault, of course I can't say how credible the people are. I was also told someone in the tower got in on film--and it turned out to be false, although I did see some cameras, so someone might have it on tape. Yes that car was trashed, I don't know if it had a rollbar, cause the roof was not really colapsed--I hope they're this strong from the factory. The crash was pretty crazy to me cause it was the first time at the track, not to cool to see a camaro upside down next to the track, especially when you own a convertible. In an instant I realized, There are some risks if your not careful. The tech seems pretty lenient, I said to the tech guy, are you going to look at my car, nope your all set, all I need is your card. Not that I'm complaining cause I don't want a rollbar for a while, one guy told me his convertible stang is running 12.5s and the tech told him any faster and he will be kicked out, if this is true, they are very easy about things. I supose the very fast drag cars is what they really go over--I hope

Damn, I hope both drivers are ok.

Anyone know if the track will be open tommorow? I am planning on going to milan tommorow but if the track is damaged, they might close it down.

The track should be open but the weather isn't lookin' too good.
Plan on no timing lights and a slippery starting line if you do go.
