Smile Looking for a used enclosed car hauler

SSF otherwise known as stupid State Farm totalled my trailer due to hail damage. The estimate to fix was only $82 above the total point and they wouldn't even consider negotiating to repair, duh, nope it's totalled.

So I need a replacement. 20-28 foot enclosed. Do you know someone that's looking to sell or have you seen one on your travels?
If so please post up.

Did you ask about buying it back? You have salvage rights to vehicles and trailers that are totalled. I've been buying Royal Cargo trailers from D&R trailer in Milan at Plank rd exit off 23, the same exit as Milan dragway. They have a whole yard full of 08s, probably give you a deal on one and they are better than a Haulmark. A used trailer could be trouble if axles are bent, the bearings go on them. Brakes are $500 unless you install them yourself.

Well I lucked out. Found a guy on Yellowbullet that has a brand new 07 24' Haulmark race trailer for a great price. Going to pick it up Tuesday.

just curious how did hail ruin your trailer to the point it would need to be totaled. was it from 1970's era?

No it was a 2006 and it was golf ball sized hail that did 5K worth of damage to the truck and 22k in repairs to the house.

The trailer got dents on the front, lh side, rear, and roof. Plus the vent and 1 marker light were smashed. The repair estimate was $2885 and the estimated salvage value was $1700. That comes to $4585 and they put a $4400 value on the trailer = totalled.
