Looking for some heads

well once again i have changed the plan for my engine

So now i am looking for a cheap set of heads. around 64cc, atleast 1.94/1.5 valves. not looking for anything special, they just have to get me through this season. Really just something that i can put new springs in and clean them up and go. i can put new valve seals in, but dont really want to mess with having a valve job done unless the price is right

BTW....i will have a set of 081 ported and polished for sale in a week or two. about $100

also have a black automatic console out a 96 camaro forsale...$60 shipped

looking for primarily a pre 86 head. i just want a stock head, cast or aluminum doesnt really matter. i will settle for a 87 or newer though if a good set is to be had. dont want vortech's though.

i dont want to use the 081 because they are 58cc, and will raise CR to much that i will have to use premium gas and gas prices are going to suck this summer

my engine is a 1974 block 350

well then I hacve some descent heads for ya. I got some 64cc camel humps from a 70 chevelle ss. I ported them and gasket mathed them. thevalves wer cleaned and lapped in which clearly showed the valve angles and the seats and there was no need to have a valve job done. 1.94 valves w/almost new valve springs good to .500 lift. rockers included if you want (stock) and some valve covers painted. these heads were on my eng. in the early part of last year before I got a good deal on some trick flow heads. w/a flat top piston and .500 lift cam it went 13.3 w/1.82 sixtys. they had lots of power down low. and still pulled untill 7000 rpm. dont know for sure where the power drops off yet cause havent been on a dyno yet, but they sure felt like they were still puling. the only problem w/them is 3 of 4 valve seals didnt get on correctly and are lifted under the spring and need to be replaced and 2 valve cover bolts were helicoiled by someone else before i got htem and they arent the correct angle. so you need to slot the two valve cover holes slightly. no big deal. $150 you pick up. email if interested.
