Looking for a qualified computer tune shop in Detroit Area.

I am installing headers (without AIR provisions), y-pipe with cats, and an adjustable 3" Cat-back exhaust system on an '02 SS. I am considering a camshaft, pushrod, and valve spring change also. Do you have a recommendation for a LS1-experienced shop in the Detroit Metro Area that can modify the calibration in the computer? I'm looking for both recommendations as well as people/places to stay away from. Thanks for your help.

Heard/seen good things about: Livernois or Wheel to Wheel
Stay away from: APE, unless you like throwing lava rocks down a storm drain. Then its a friggin hoot!

I'm not familiar with Livernois, other than the name of a Street. Any additional information about it?

Also, where is Wheel to Wheel located? Thanks for your help.

I PM'd you the info on W2W. I am unsure if they are a sponsor on this board or not so I don't know if I can post the info publically.

Give Livernois a visit, you wont be sorry after seeing the shop, and the cars they work on, mine is there getting finished, give Rick or Dan a shout and tell them Andy sent you. Here is their info:

Livernois Motorsports
2500 South Gulley Road
Dearborn Heights, MI 48125
Phone: (313)-561-5500
Fax (313)-730-7500

Let us know how it turns out.
Andy

Livernois is a nice shop. They got a VERY nice black SS outside. It's TT'd and I think runs 9's or 10's. It's an LS1. I knew a guy that worked there, but he was a big Rustang guy. Bit pricey too, but who isn't.

Motor city motorsports, formerly kim n larry's, in wyandotte can help you out as well. Dyno tuning. 200 for a couple runs, been a while since I called, but I know they do it.

It seems the site may be down for work
www.wheeltowheelinc.com

This is who GM uses for out of house work, I'd be going too wheel to wheel if it were my choce for LS1 tuning. There on Industrial drive in Troy MI. Thats off of 14 mile road between dequinder and john r.
