Man, I step away from my post and look what happens, all hell breaks loose.

Damm Dave, you are getting ripped on..... Of course I have to say I have never seen your car either............ Good luck with the clutch.

91Bird305, do you know if the car is an automatic? How many miles on it? Color? Where is the car located?

Thanks,

Bill

Larrys car is a red automatic with graphite leather and a built trans with a custom driveshaft. It has 43000 miles on it and he is located in Mt Pleasant. It also has 3.73 gears with an Eaton posi and just about every piece that BMR makes: STB, SFCs, LCAs, PB & TA. I have his number somewhere, but you can do a search of his posts and email him. I see where he recently responded to a post of a Firehawk hood for sale, so maybe he is keeping the car.

BISHOP: I'd like to check out the turbo kit on your car. I havent seen it since its been done and might be interested in a kit for my 01 TA.

Thanks for he offer. I would love to check it out. Can you answer a few questions for me.

1.) Who installed it? Same place you bought it from?

2.) How are you able to run 11#s, what have you done? Is yours an Automatic?

3.) Have you been to the dyno? Have you had it to the track and if yes, what times did you get out of it.

Thanks again, sounds like your car is just what I am looking for.

Stainless Works is posting over on ls1.com that they sell the headers and downpipe from the QMP kit. You would have to fab the hoses, intercoolers, and stuff like that. It is a do-it-yuorselfer type deal but it is a pretty good setup if you get it dialed in properly.

I installed it, and it was purchased from Detroit Speedworks. I lowered the compression by using CNC'd 6.0L stage 2 heads.
Yes it is an automatic, Coan TH400 with rev. man. valve body and a brake.
Yes it dynoed 403/403 on a mustang dyno at 10 psi and went 11.35@ 120.xx, with what turned out to be a ballooned converter.
No new times yet with the 11psi tune and the new converter.

TAJack: I'm planning to be at Lapear Sunday morning, I wanted to hit Ubly but it looks like they are closed this weekend.

hey bill, glad to see your shopping for another car. I saw a blue 98 for sale in the musclecar trader today for $8K I think it was. looked clean in the little b&w pic, but you know how that goes. I can get you the # tomorrow if you call me during the day while Im at work. Id be very interested in intalling that turbo kit on whatever car you get so shoot me a email if you want to talk about it. I dont know how long it will take to install, but I'll email bishop and see what he thinks. plus I can ask greg banish what it should take in terms of time. you can then take it down the street to get dyno tuned at greg banish's new place of employment (Livernois Performance) or whereever you feel llike taking it really.

you know the number, but here it is again.
