IT lives
IT lives
Well we got it allr eady to be able to just see if it starts we were going to break it in tonight but by the time we got everhting done it was already 10:40
so we just decided to start it. so we turn the key. the starter was cranking engine was cranking but not turning over. so around 11 we give up with thtat. got tired of advanced and re adjusting the timing without being able to use a gun on it. so we put it back at top dead center. check the distributor it was exactly 180 off. fliped it back around. one crank on the starter bam fired right up. i got it on tape just a matter of when i get around to putting it up.
but yeah It Runs. and it SOUNDS GOOD.....

Re: IT lives
Sounds like a sweet car. The cam break in will be noisy, I'm sure Chris's neighbors will appreciate it. 2000 rpm for 20 minutes on open headers! Thats why I like roller cams because you don't have to break them in. You should have a sweet running ride when your all done. Good luck.
