Just turned the key and got the car running with the whole new setup on it.

Gonna readjust the rocker arms and take it for a spin later.

Only thing that I am kind of confused about is that it still has almost all of the low end... the mid range it starts to fall flat... and well... I have only gone to about 3800... so I don't know about top end yet

I'm getting my laptop charged up and then I am gonna go get gas in a bit... I'll log a run.

Glad to hear it Brad. Thanks to a generous corral member who is sending me a few used oil rings I might get mine back on the road soon, though it now needs a lot of work. You gonna go to 131 anytime soon?

 

Finished my test, and had to go help my brother. He made me feel guilty and all, cuz I am driving my car and he isnt. Besides, I weighted the options...I knew you would be up and running. I'm not so sure about him...and he is STILL planning on making it Friday

Q, I dunno about my cars state of tune... it seems to be awful rough at idle... not enough fuel
its at about 136-138 BLM's at idle most of the time. And my friggin laptop died before I could log data.

I'll be logging later tonight though.

If my car wasn't in such a poor state of tune and I had enough time to get it tuned in better I would make it Friday. But I can't... you 4th gen guys and your EEPROMS friggin have it made.

 

Scott, I plan on it. I have to get the car tuned though. Its gonna be a major pain in the ***!!
