They say that Cold Air makes HP. Well there was snow in shaded places & it wasn't melting. Had to drop the air pressure in my MT ET radials down to 10 psi in order to get e'm to hook.

Best; 13.61 @103.8

I had the blue LS1 Firehawk there. Just baselining it before mods and the best was 13.29 @107 on street tires. I tried to back it up but couldnt. Im still happy with it, since the car only has a lid and cat back on it. Quasar got into the 11s with just a lid, headers, true duals, 3.73s, and his custom tuning.

Re: Lapeer Drags 12/05 lets do it

That damn place. I live over an hour away. Went out in October. Called 3 times that day to ask if they were running. All 3 times, oh yeah no problem. I said its raining here. Nope, no rain here. Even called 10 minutes out. No rain here. It was raining in the car. get there and no ones running. It's raining. wait an hour. Alright buddy, sidk of waiting, and its not going to stop raining, not to mention you have no equipment to dry the track. Give me a raincheck. (no way this guy gives money back) No No, were going to run. Then he wants everyone to do laps up and down the track to dry it off. All this while its only raining harder. Again, give me a raincheck. No No, we're going to get it dry. I said, look you got a bunch of front wheel drive cars here today. Maybe they will run on your wet track. But, me, you can't dry it enough today to convince me of my safety. And, IT'S STILL RAINING. So, he finally gives a raincheck.

Can't make it another time. Until 12-04. get there, and its pretty clear skies. Little moisture, not bad. Well, I'm lined up at the gate to get in and realize there is no one in the booth. Finally walk up to the large concession area(that's actually what it says on the website) and ask the guys WTF? They say, we're waiting for more cars. 2 more show up. That's still not enough for them. They finally say we're not going to open today. Come back tomorrow. Well, I had a family commitment the next day, so I couldn't come back.

And of course the raincheck does not carry over to the next year. Fool me once, shame on you..........

Sorry for the rant. Never had a bad experience there until now. don't care for Milan, but, I think I'll go back there next year.

Darn, too bad you had such a crappy experience. I love going to the track rental days at Milan but on the last day it was open they were so crowded that I waited around for hours just to get one lousy run in. I think somebody should open another track and have some common courtesy for the racers.

I agree with the Milan complaint. That is my opinion also. Last time I went, I think I got 3 runs in, in about 3.5 hours. unacceptable. I wouldn't hold out much hope for another track though. we probably already have more available to us than most states, I woudl be willing to bet. And the NIMBY principle just gets stronger and stronger.
