13.45 1.970 101.98
13.52 2.030 ??102.04
13.50 1.991 102.01
13.43 1.965 102.01
13.45 1.974 102.04
These times are WITHOUT N2O.

My 60',1/8th mile ET and MPH are the same as last year's. But I'm picking up a half second after the 1/8 mile. I don't believe I'm spinning, and somewhere past the 60' I can feel the car pick up (like it lunges) like it does when I run the juice

Quite dissappointing for a heads/cam swap
Maybe a gear change would help. It has 2.73's in now.
what d'ya think?

I think you need gears, my car does the same thing with my new engine, it doesn't "lunge" on acceleration until about 3400 rpm, I'm getting gears to solve that problem

yeah, if its a 6speed car, you need 4.10's. if its a a4 like mine, you still need 4.10s, but may have to settle on 3:73 if you need gas mileage. email scott koreski, he can hook you up on a great price to swap gears. Id expect to see your times at least get into the 12.9xs with the gear swap.

what is your setup? cam/heads/trans/conv./headers/and most important tuning? did you have it dynoed yet? my 95 didnt quite feel as strong as my Iroc, so Im not expecting it to go quicker then mid 12's at this point. but that is with a mailorder tune. if its not atleast high 12's, then im gonna get a dyno tune.

I have a Comp Cams 233/242 .569/.576 cam with Comp "R" lifters. SVO 30# injectors, Stock heads with Crane springs and Edelbrock shorty headers and no cat. It's an A4 with a Vigi 3200 converter. I did a little tuning on it myself. just timing bumped up and injector constants changed for the 30# injectors
Thanks for the replies

Something is wrong. The 373`s will only make maybe 2mph and 2 tenths difference.Get a scan done and see what is wrong.
That was with street radials right?

you should email madwolf. he sent me my tune, and Im not sure its real close yet, it did run great. he has the same cam as me with stock heads. his combo is very close to yours and he's geting 348 RWHP out of his. then you can take his tune and tweak it to maximise it for yours. you need to rev that eng. pretty high since your cam is even bigger then mine. but that conv. should be putting you in the low 1.7s 60 foot times easy.
