Inexpensive vehicle needed ASAP

My sister needs a vehicle ASAP. Some of you may remember the boa constrictor for sale post, where I mentioned she moved out of her boyfriends house.
Anyway, it's tax return time, and she needs a vehicle BADLY.
She's a single mom with 2 kids, so she needs something with the room, and dependability. She'd like to be at or under $1000 if at all possible. And if she spends the limit, she can't cough up any extra for repairs (tires, brakes, exhaust)

Anyone help?

You know as well as the rest of us that you get what you pay for. Any $1000 car is going to need something unless you know the seller and they're doing you a favor.

I would try looking at public auctions. Only problem is you don't know what you're getting, but if you want cheap there has to be some risks.

Good luck, and I'll keep an eye open.

My father in law, the one who bought your 400 block, just dropped off a 89 probe 5 speed with 4 banger at my house. He bought it with a blown head gasket and repaired it. I drove it and it runs great. he wants me to put a coil on it and sell it for him. I get more traffic by my house then his. He wants 1200.00, but told me he would take 1000.00. Let me know, I can send you some pics. It has high miles, but runs great. Plus with the top end redone that probably helps. Everything works, cruise, rear wiper, even the rear pisser. Its white with red interior. Let me know.

Gotta take this back up. She got her tax cash back and is looking hard now. Q sold the probe, and Doug's van burns a little oil he said, and she is wary about that.

So, TTT!
