Lightbulb IMPORTANT: HOW can we meet each other at M7???

All the time we get together and race but do not meet 90% of the new people we could!! Me... being stuck here in Rivestucky, don't get to meet most of the east/west siders. I want to put faces to your screen names!! I wanna talk to you!!

What can we do so we don't pass each other in the night (so to speak)???

How about we put our screen name on the back window or something? Just a thought-that's what a lot of guys did at the one and only NFRA race.

Talking

I agree with TATOMMY!! Name stickers and WEAR THEM!

My name is already on my drivers window but I don't hang around the car all day! If my name is on ME than by golly, that is whom I am!!

It's nice to put something on the car too, that way we know who's car is who's. You could even do that in shoe polish!!

I think Ripper and I put our names on the back of our cars last year. But I would rather have a name tag too.

I had to buy some for a class, and the smallest quantity that Office Depot had them in was 100. So I used 20 or 30 at the very most for my class, and now I have no idea what to do with the rest. So I can bring those.

Here's how NOT to miss me:
1. My car is a purple 95 Camaro. How many purple Camaros do you see in any given day? Even at an M-event...
2. Just in case there's another purple Camaro, my license plate is pictured in my avatar: TH RIDE.
3. Some pictures of me are below. I'm about 5'6", slim, blonde hair and blue eyes. I may or may not be wearing a black cowgirl hat. If you see me walking around away from my car, introduce yourself and say hello to me.
me on my brother's 21st b-day in March
me with my friend Lindsey (I'm on the left)
me with my friend Niki (I'm on the right)

I'd hand out my cell # but Nextel doesn't work at Stanton

I AM GETTING SO EXCITED!!!!!

Hey Rebecca,
This is your first time out right? You wouldn't want to line up with another noobie would ya? It will be my first time out as well.

Is it my first time? Well, yes and no.

Yes, it will be my first time at Stanton.

But no, I'm not a true track virgin. My one and only run was at Martin earlier this summer.

I'm not sure if you can work it out so that you line up. I know at Martin it doesn't really work that way. But heck yeah, if it happens that we line up, that rocks!

We do the AA thing during the drivers meeting in the morning. We all get in a circle say our name, screen name describe our car and admit that we have a speed abuse problem and we have all fallen off the wagon one more time.

We attempt to make mental notes during the intros and then promptly forget who we've met in our rush to get to the staging lanes. Then while we're in between runs hanging by the fence or in the stands we get this strange feeling that we've met the person next to us somewhere before.
