If anyone has any used slicks or tires with some tread left (about 20% or more) and they would like to sell them dirt cheap please let me know. I have an extra set of rims for my vette and I need some tires that I can burn up autocross racing with. the size I need is 250 50 16 I have BFG Comp TA's on my vettes 16x9.5" rims right now and yesterday I autocrossed and I can't afford to put that much wear on my daily driver tires. I can't afford much but if anyone is getting rid of some tires that still have some tread left I would like to take them off your hands.

 

I have 6 tires I would sell as a group. They are 235/55-16 4 tires are Goodyear RA's 2 good tread two little tread, 2 tires are Bridgestone (Something OK) little tread. All toghter the tires would last for a few miles of use. These tire are in good shape, not hard and weather checked. $100 and meet you in Flint

By little tread very close to wear bars. Still good tires just not for going 100mph on rain.

Sweet Chris, (IROCSS85) You'll get lunch, also I can help you out with your house if you need help remodeling. Now I just need to get one tire or two depending on if I can get similar one. Autocross racing in the vette was awesome except one thing, I kept sliding to the right on my front tire and after four runs straight I looked and it turns out my front main seal was leaking and the people who rebuilt the engine didn't put RTV on the key for the harmonic balancer so oil was shooting right on my front right tire! I powerwashed it between some runs and it did good, yesterday I spent all day dropping the oil pan, timing chain cover, water pump, and all that stuff and replaced all the gaskets. I still haven't got the supsension done or started yet, but I did install the short throw shifter kit, oh and that was another story where I had to pull apart the tranny, next is the overdrive unit!
