Thumbs up I made the finals in EFI at Grand Bend

Jeff got me qualified #1 with a 12.013 on a 12.0 index playing with the nitrous pressure while the other competitors were wrestling with the high heat and humidity. I decided to anticipate the light in the finals because I knew that my 600 lights werent going to cut it against Quinns trans brake 540s on a 500 pro tree start. Well, I was about a tenth too quick and red lit the final away with a 428 bulb on a 12.02 run @ 114.XX.
12.0 class is the most fun you can have without a cage. Monte Kev won the Street Eliminator class when his competition red lit in the final round. As usual, Pat Musi won pro street and Marc Dantoni won outlaw street.

Congrats Jack and Kevin

It was a great race. This is my second NMCA stop this year and I am happy to see that Motown Muscle is making a good showing for itself.

Congrats! Thats one big accomplishment. Those guys there are no joke. I was there Friday night for T'n't and it was awsome seeing the big names make runs right in front of us. Everything was great except the air, sticky and HOT. NMCA puts on a great show.

Congrats, you guys both did a great job of representing MM. That too was the 2nd NMCA event I attended. Anyone who hasnt gone to one I highly suggest it. There is some bad *** cars there and top notch racing in all classes. Then next event is in Ohio. I beleive the one after that is The weekend of Sept 7th at Mid Michigan. I know I will be there for sure rooting on Jack and Kevin.

Congrats Jack taking your ride into the finals. You've got yourself a quality Crew Chief that can dial you in like that in the heat.

Now John "YOU" made it happen!
I just gave ya the tool to get the job done
Guys I'm having a blast with this little EFI machine. Its been wayyyy kool to come out with a combo that flat a$$ gets the job done.
Two friggen back to back number one qualifer spots...
12.012 at us 131
12.013 at grand bend
And walking right towards the number one spot in points as long as we put a linelock and launch rpm control on this *****.

One things for sure, the "NEW" Timing/Nitrous controller we've been testing on the car is hands down one killer tool for a LS1 car. Its been way kool being the test bed for the products final development phase .....
....Thanks have to go out to the Modern Musclecar Masters!

Yea, I'm foot braking against guys with trans brakes that leave off a button. I need to try to deep stage or get a line lock and a two step to have competitive reaction times during crunch times-the semis and finals. Monte Kev suggested sun glasses when I told him I have better reaction times at night when the sun isnt shining on the tree.

I have heard of the sun glasses thing working for most that try it.

I am just naturally gifted though j/k

I just read that I do not need to be a member in order to compete in Street Eliminator or EFI Eliminator. I think I just may show up Saturday at Stanton.

Its $50 to enter and I think they pay back to 8th. Its $500 for a win, $250 for runner up, and $125 for making the semis-3rd and 4th. You dont have to be a member to race in those classes, but you dont get contingency money for decals on your car of products you are using that each pay $100 for second and $300 for a win. They also offer Cargo Mate trailers at cost if an NMCA member orders one at an NMCA event. Thats something I need to check into at the next event.
