How to respond to the death of family/friend

Guys,
Iv'e recently lost 2 families members.
It's been/ will be rough. But Iv'e learned
some things I'd like to pass on .

The calls, letters, emails offering condolences,
assistance etc. are VERY nice.

Asking too many details regarding events can
be very rude not to mention painful.

DO NOT finish the conversation with a story
about your sister's cousin's brother who went
thru the "same" thing but worse. I've heard at
least 30 of these and they all suck. I already felt
like hell why throw another log on my fire? If I hear
one more I'm gonna pummell the person then
I'm gonna cry.

In short offer your sympathy and your help
it's more than enough.

and even if your "healthy" get a pyhsical once a year.

Be safe
Kevin

Sorry to hear for your losses. To each his own loved ones, but for every loved one there is a heaven, think of the most spectacular place and thats where they'll be, watching and smiling down upon thee.

My prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, stay strong and keep your nose up. If you need anything, you have a whole family full of people right here on the board, ready and willing to help out in any way possible.
