Actually it depends on the weather.

If its raining or snowing it will be pretty slow .

Obviously, but I have never been to an opening day at the track, are they usually packed with 1hr wait times weather permitting?

ok, enough kidding aside. usually if oyu can get there when they open, you can crank off 6-8+ runs in the 1st hour they are open. THEN after that you'll probably be lucky to make 3-4 more runs the rest of the day. Sometimes if you get there at 5ish, till 9 you might get only 3 runs in total. I have been there 4 hours and made 2 runs.

hope this helps. In closing, past performance is not a guarantee of future results. the weather may be great and it be dead there.

Yeah thats how it goes sometimes. Wednesdays are usually really busy. Fridays can be slow at times but then at 7:30 they start the street race and you can get a run or 2 in between rounds.

Well, last year (not opening day) on Wednesdays it generally wasn't too bad. But if you get there when they open you can click off a good amount of runs. Seems like the wait isn't bad, as long as people don't break. When people break, they are dumb and drive the whole length of the track for some reason

7/16/03 - 9 Passes
7/23/03 - 10 Passes
7/30/03 - 12 Passes
8/6/03 - 14 Passes
8/13/03 - 11 Passes (burnt a plug wire around 8 at night)
8/29/03 - 7 Passes (broke the rear early that night, within an hour and a half of getting there)

* All days were Wednesdays except the last one.

I made a decent amount of passes. The car ran the same hot or cold. I need more seat time and practice shifting.
