ok so my car will hit 91,000 tomorrow morning and i have had a clicking or tick noise in my top end for awhile now. its always there. it almost sounds like a lifter or rocker arm. anyone got any ideas or have similiar noises?

Try some top engine cleaner. It may be some carbon build up. Or you can try some engine oil additive to try and quite it down. Also sometimes a fuel injector will make a louder ticking noise when going bad. The best thing to try for all the above is BG system cleaning. It runs about $100.00 to $150.00 to have done but is a great stuff. I have used it for about 10 years at the dealerships. It will clean the injectors,intake,throttle body,EGR,piston and valves. This stuff is really great . I have seen engine before and after this is used torn down and it works.

 

where would i purchase this product at? or who would i have do it? another question.. has anyone changed there sprak plugs from the top? im gonna try and get at mine from the top this weekend or next.
