Help?!? Stock panhard rod???

Anyone near the Lansing area have a stock panhard rod???

I found out why I was hearing some popping noises from the rear end. It seems my Hotchkis adj. panhard rod has up and quit on me. The threads that make it adjustable have stripped...and it's only been on my car for 1.5 years!!! I'll admit, I have taken a few turns quite fast...but, I see no reason for the part to have failed.

The good news is, they seem willing to work with me even though the warranty is toast. I just have to ship it back to them (in CA) which means my car is out of comission unless I can get something to replace it temporarily. So, if anybody can help a fellow f-bod brother out...I'd apprecaite it!!! Maybe trade for some of your favorite beer??? Something...

I know they have at least one of those at Schrams.

Probably more like 5-10 if you looked hard enough.

What happened to your old one?

Apparently Schram's doesn't give a flying monkey's bum about their customers, because they don't want to sell the items in their yard. That is fine, because I won't be going to them anymore.

Jeff, good luck finding what you need. Let me know if I can be of any help for ya!
It doesn't help much when you pull the item, take it to the counter, ask how much it is, and then not buy it. Then you come back in a few months later and ask them how much it is again.

Face it, you probably pissed them off.

On another note, I could walk in there right now with a 15mm wrench and they would sell me a panhard bar.

Thanks for all the offers guys...I just picked one up last night (Friday) and it fit like a glove. All seems well now. Just waiting to hear back from Hotchkis once they figure out what their gonna do about replacement/compensation.
