Heading up north for opening day

Woo hoo, the camper is ready, and the food is nearly packed.

Sighted in the Ruger M77 .30-06 rifle with some of my own hand loads, and it's now splittin'a nickel into five shiny pennies at 100 yards ! Probably hanging in at 1 m.o.a. or less, even with the cheap Norinco chinese scope !

These 165 grain Nosler Partitions are sizzling downrange at 2850 f.p.s. or thereabouts, which should really make for some seriously dead deer!

Anyone else going hunting?

Nope, they turned my favorite hunting grounds into a subdivision I have no place to hunt anymore.
