My buddy from Pennsylvania and I were out roaming the streets of Phoenix last night just cruising around in his 97 Turbo Eclipse. We were on our way home and got stuck at a red light next to a older civic hatch. Light goes green and it's on. the hatch ended up edging us out by about a half a length.We get caught at the next light and the hatch turns off. We take off and out of no where a Phoenix cop rolls up and turns on the purple haze. He asked my buddy why he lit up his tires back at the light? My friend says "sir, it's an all wheel drive car it won't do it".He asked if we were racing the Honda and he said yes.He told him about all the fines and other fun prizes that come with the deal. He then asked where we were going so we said home.He said that he was lucky that they had some $hit to do or else he would be going for a ride downtown. The cop then said if he was gonna keep doing that stupid $hit to make sure he did'nt do it in Phoenix,Go over to Glendale to do it. ( Glendale has much more severe penalties for street racing). It was wierd the never asked for I.D. from either of us,We had out of state plates,and we had a UTI sticker in the window. Phoenix cops hate UTI students.I have never heard of getting a warning for street racing. It must have been his lucky day.

Yes I know someone very well,if you know what I mean

We were out in the country for some after midnight fun,there happens to be an old garage there, about 500 feet past the end of the 1/4.

He was parked in an unmarked car aqmong the wrecks and repaired cars,nobody seen him on the inspection run


We go back to the line burnout and run, headlights come on,dash roller on, busted!

Scared sh*tless,thinking we were going to lose our licences,get the lecture,grow up, act your age,ect ect.

His main beef was the late Sunday early Monday morning noise,the neighbors,people who lived on this road had phoned in a complaint about the racing noise!

Then he said get out of here and do not come back,as he had our plate #'s and the mext time would be the real deal!

We thanked him profusely,licking his boots

I take it to the track now
