The engine was built by Roush. Jay, the owner, works for Roush in the marketing department, in building 50 in Livonia. The exact same building where alot of the GM performance parts crate motors are built. (Gen 1 stuff, not LSx stuff)

And yes, it is still available. I was going to go over tomorrow and pull the motor, but the dude who said he wanted it is not returning phone calls so I am not going to waste my time.

248 494 3305 is his cell, his name is Jay Velthoven. Please **** with him, I like to. Anyways, vacuum systems are screwy on FI cars, realistically I think the problem could easily be solved by running breathers on the valvecovers and ditching the PCV system altogether like i did on my car, but Jay is a peckerhead. Anyways, this blower setup is screwy, it has twin intercoolers. Where the blower mounts on the car, there is NO room for any sort of intake as the drivers side header and steering shaft is in the way, so the air filter clamps directly to the inlet. The problem is, under boost, there is no source for vacuum. The PCV normally draws vacuum for the intake, and all is well. When you have a blower on a car and the car is under boost, the manifold is pressurized. Crankcase pressure + Boost in the manifold running to the crankcase = BAD. I realize the PCV is designed to prevent this, but **** happens. Anyways, the other issue is where to run the line for the opti vacuum. I guess you could force filtered air through it just as well as you could suck it through, so I suppose that doesnt matter. It's not rocket science, but Jay just doesn't have time for it anymore. It's a good looking car with ALOT of potential, it just needs someone to take care of it like Jay used to. It has been sitting outside so the white top is NASTY and you WILL need to replace it, there is no getting that thing clean. Other than that its a pretty solid car, built with quality parts. By a peckerhead Let me know when you are gonna go look at it, I might head over he lives 2 or 3 miles from me.

my phone is off right now when it rains it pours right! but yeah, my dad has a 1000 plus rwhp procharged LS1 so ill just take general notes from his car. but the top can be cleaned, my SS was in the same situation, but 2 of my female friends came over with Scrubbing bubbles and some soft brushes and went to town and got the top perfectly white again. it took several hours but it worked. but im just waiting for the appraisor to come here and give a value, they only wanted to give me like 4K for my car so i laughed and said no but please make sure he dont sell it!! as soon as the ins co. cuts me a check he will have money in his hands, so it should only be 1 week, 2 at most!

Give him a call and let him know your intentions. And call him peckerhead, or snatchface. He likes that
