Arrow FS: 10-spoke Chrome SS wheels in very good shape - $400!

Some of you might have seen this in another thread I had going about these...

A friend of mine has five sets of chrome 10-spoke Camaro SS wheels for sale. They have only very mild blemishes (mostly pits on the inner rim). The face of the wheels are in VERY good shape, maybe only a small flake or nick here and there at the most. You probably won't be able to even notice any blemishes from 5-10 feet away...if at all.

We took one that we thought was a good example of a worst case scenario and cleaned it up a bit and took some pics.

You can find the pics here:
http://www.phantomss.com/sswheels/

Of course, most are better condition that this one, but not much worse, if at all.

$400 a set of 4, new chrome center caps are $28 for a set of 4 in the choice of SS or bowtie. PayPal ONLY.

Shipping is $38 to east of the Mississippi, $68 for west of the Mississippi.

First come, first served. E-mail me for payment information. Also available for local pickup in the Troy, MI area.

If these are not sold by next Tuesday, they gotta go on eBay.

I'll think about it... I've got these on my car right now and they look terrible. Two winters through the salt really f'ed them up. I got another car now for the winter so I'll get back to you soon.

you guys are crazy...if i had a 4thgen i'd be all over them as they are a great budget wheel. i on the other hand would have to spend another 200 in adapters just to use them.

I just did some research... and found out it would cost me $100 to get my tires switched I wanna buy these real bad, but that added expense is making me hesitate... being that I dont have a job, and the two sets of wheels I have now arent gauranteed to sell.

Anyone know of a place that would be a little more reasonable?

not sure i understand...a place wants 100 just to switch rims with your 17" tires?

call belle tire at 23 mile and gratiot. ask for dan, let him know what they want to charge you and i'm sure he'll help you out.

100 just to switch tires is rediculous.

I want to take the tires off my painted 10 spokes, and put them on the chrome 10 spokes if/when I buy them.

Yes, I was quoted $100 to do that at both Discount and Belle Tire... I called the ones on Hall Road.

Both places asked me what size and assume/asked if it was a performance tire... I dont see how that matters, and what exactly qualifies them as 'performance tires'?

I will try calling the one you mentioned.

yes just call them, a little more drive for you but not much. ask for dan and call any day but wednesday. make sure you tell him that you called the hall rd store and they wanted $100 to do it. let him know you just want to know if his store will do it cheaper. i wouldn't see why he wouldn't.

$2 each to dismount and mount plus $10 each for tape weight balance = $14X4 = $56 at White Lake Belle Tire.

anytime you dismount you should balance, alignment is different. sounds like they were trying to get that in too. balance should be enough, you shouldn't need an alignment for what your doing.
