The Ultimate Garage Contest
Who Can Enter
1. Entrants must be Michigan residents who are 21 years of age or older and own their own home.
2. Employees of Fox Television Stations, Inc., Sears, On the Scene Productions, Bob Vila, and their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.
How to Enter
1. No purchase is necessary to enter. Only one entry is allowed per contestant.
2. To enter, send a photograph of your messy garage along with your name, address, phone number, and birth date. Mail the completed entry to:

3. The contest starts on Wednesday, December 3, 2003, and all entries must be received by WJBK by 5:00 P.M. on Monday, December 15th, 2003. WJBK is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected mail or for printing errors.
4. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges chosen by WJBK. Criteria on which the winner will be chosen may include overall messiness, clutter, and lack of organization of the garage. The panel of judges’ decision will be final and will be announced on FOX2 NEWS MORNING on Wednesday, December 17, 2003.
5. All entries received that are mutilated, tampered with, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of Fox Television Stations, Inc. and will not be acknowledged or returned.
The Prize
1. One winner will be selected. The winner will receive a prize package as follows:
One $500 Craftsman gift card; one 8-foot Work Bench #59474 ($299.99); one Craftsman Wall-mounted Wet-Dry Vac #17775 ($79.99); and one Craftsman 7-pc combo set #11432 ($189.99). The total prize package is valued at approximately $1069.97.
Winner agrees to allow FOX2 to videotape the winning garage and grants an interview with FOX2 which may air on FOX2 News Morning.
2. Winner will be notified by phone. Winner must sign and return a release and affidavit of eligibility, which must be received within 2 days of notification..
3. If winner does not timely return the affidavit of eligibility, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner, who will be selected by the panel of judges. If the alternate winner does not timely return the affidavit of eligibility, then the prize will not be awarded.
4. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner. The winner cannot assign or transfer prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.
5. The winner is responsible for paying any local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules.
Odds of Winning; Miscellaneous
1. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received, and the extent to which the judge’s criteria is met.
2. Complete contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WJBK-TV, 16550 W. 9 Mile Rd., Southfield, MI 48075, or on the website at FOX@DETROIT.COM.
3. For the name of the grand prize winner, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: WJBK-TV, Attn: Pat Enderle, FOX2 NEWSROOM, PO Box 2000, Southfield, MI 48075.
4. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited and in Florida and Puerto Rico. Sponsors accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize awarded hereunder.
