Exhaust shop in Downriver for Zed cutout
Exhaust shop in Downriver for Zed cutout
Has anyone had a Zed style cutout done in the Downriver area? My friend has been to several shops and they say they won't be able to weld all the way around the pipe near the muffler. I know it can be done since alot of people have, I just figured it would be easier to find someone that has done one before.
Any recommendations?

If you ever do find a good exhaust shop Downriver please let me know.
I know several places but there's no one I would actually "Recommend".
A couple places I went wouldn't even put my car on the rack. As soon as I said the word "Headers" they were like... "Can't touch it" even though I had cats on the car
Quality muffler on Eureka doesn't turn down much work. I am fairly sure they would do it but it might not be pretty. The last welding they did on my exhaust was pretty sloppy but I think it depends on which guy does the work.

Muffler Dave's In Wayne. Take Telegraph north to Michigan Avenue and head west for a couple miles and it's on the right side well before I-275. Dave Jr loves muscle cars and can weld anything exhaust related so he knows what yer looking for. They should be in the yellow pages if you need the number, sorry I don't have it on me. He's quick and doens't even charge all that much! He's treated everyone I know on this board well. Goodluck.
Thanks for the replies. I'll check on the last two.
Muffler Man in Taylor said they could "probably" do it, but it would cost at least $150
Doesn't seem to be all that difficult. Thanks for the leads.
