Exhaust Pipe Slots

Anyone know of a local shop (Warren - Ann Arbor - Flint) that can stamp or cut 'Z' type slots on each side of the female ends of exhaust pieces to enable the use of Torka type flat band clamps. I've had my intermediate pipe and muffler ceramic coated and want to reassemble the exhaust assembly, but don't want to use U bolt clamps anymore. The OEM pipes with flat clamps specify a Z type slot such that it minimizes exhaust leaks when the clamp is tightened. I have 4 pieces - 2 sections of 3" intermediate pipe, and 2 SLP "2 on the left" tailpipes at 2 3/4". Would like to keep the cost down, of course, or I can just use a sawzall and do a half assed job myself with straight slots and live with the increased exhaust leak. Any leads would be appreciated.

why not just weld the joints? if you dont want to do that, try some of those stainless steel sheetmetal clamps like summit has. thats what I use. they are 3" wide and have a bolt at each end. slip it over the joint so the seam is in the middle and tighten them down. they work great. however, I just realized, are you saying the pipes you are slipping together are a 2 3/4" into a 3" pipe? if so, the only thing you can do it weld it. or get an adapter to neck down between the two sizes. then weld the adapter pipe onto one end, and use that clamp on the other end. do you know what Im trying to say?
here's a link.
