dyes or anything for leather?
hi ,like all camaro owners with leather interior mine is discolored on the driverside front seat. My ? is has anyone ever tryed to look into dying that part that is worn a little, or do you have no choice and have to get a new seat cover?
I've used shoe polish with great success, mine isn't worn to bad, but it covered it up real good, I can't really tell even wtih the top down. The cost of fixing it is around 70-150 bucks, so for 2.50 you can't go wrong, over time mine seems to need more polish, but only takes a second to apply. When I'm not so lazy I'll take some pics.
I have used the leather dye that summit sells. I think it's made by VHT. They have 2 shades of gray if I recall, light and dark. The light was really light, we used the darker shade.
We did an entire interior and for the most part it held up as well as could be expected. It was very easy to work with. It wears off eventually on the high wear areas but it's easy enough to re-apply.
edit: The dye.

I use a product called "Deerskin Touch up" by Dr Minor.
Its a solid dye for leather products. Uses states: nicks, cuts, srcapes, scuffs. Like a shoe polish the way you apply it but its a
tanery dye that lasts!
You'll have to go to a old school shoe repair shop to get it.
That spray vht stuff would work for color changes but if you have
graphic leather get the "deerskin" tone.
