DSM for sale

I've got a '91 talon TSI/AWD for sale. It has a FEW minor mods: 2.5" Downpipe/test/catback, ACT 2600 clutch (about 5000 miles) 255lph fuel pump, timing belt around 15,000 miles ago. It has 130,000 miles on it and still runs great! Now for the stuff it needs...: I have new front rotors/ pads ready to put on (I did the rear brakes last spring). I also have new power steering lines to install (too cold to do it now). The power windows move slow (dsm's window motors are notorious for beingslow). A couple of dings/dents/small rust spots etc. I'm looking for $2500 or best offer. I found a good deal on a 2gen talon so this one has to go. Oh yeah..It also has Konig 17" wheels w/kumho tires with about 5000 miles on 'em. I'll take some pics this week for anybody interested.

I might be interested. Was the balance shaft belt and timing belt tensioner replaced with the timing belt? I'm guessing from your 1/4 times it also has a boost controller & gauge. You don't pull 100 mph trap speeds in an AWD DSM without upping the boost!

How's the trans shift? What color is it? Can you email me pics? z28ragtop94@hotmail.com. I'm 1000 miles away right now but I can come back any weekend.

I was actually going to hold out for an AWD '92 Laser but hey, It's worth looking at. Besides, it's awfully hard to find a '92 AWD Laser.

I have the car posted over at DSMTrader too. Yeah I upped the boost to 16 psi for a couple of track days after I put the fuel pump in. I keep it at 12 now. I didn't list the boost gage and boost controller in my mods 'cause I'm keeping them for my next DSM. The tensioner and BS belt was replaced together. I'll get some pics this week.

I used to have a '90 fwd Laser with a stock fuel system. It actually saw 17-18 psi a couple times at the track on race gas. Managed to pull a 102 mph trap speed with it. I miss that car! I guess that's why I still keep an eye out for them.

Hey Chris! How you doing, buddy? How are you feeling? I've only been home once since the middle of November. I'll probably come home again in early March. I've been working a million hours. I'll try and shoot you an email tomorrow night. I don't want to hijack this thread.
