downriver gear install

i was wondering if anyone can recommend a place to put in a ring and pinion in the downriver area? there has been a few places i've called and the price seems a bit too high. i know alot of guys have used scott koresky, but i really don't want to drive that far without having the computer tuned for the new gear (i live in monroe county).
thanks.

I let Jolly's in Lincoln Park do my old TA on recommendation from my family's mechanic.

I want to say it was around $500 for install and resealing of my leaky 700r4. No problems with it.

My buddy took his firechicken there too. He drives his car HARD and it's been 3 years with no problems.

I'd still recommend Scott K. Are you concerned about the speedo being off or it not being tuned for the gear? I'm sure he'd do better than $500...worth the trip IMO.

i contacted scott through pm a few weeks ago and he still hasn't gotten back to me. i called jolly's and they wanted $300 for the install. i guess i'm just getting cheap..lol. it just seems alot for a 1 1/2 or 2 hour job. as far as the tune, i don't want to hurt anything while driving with the computer not being tuned for the gears.

I will never let anyone other than Scott touch my rear end! (gay wink for scott) Give him a call, 586-630-1098. He has built four 10 bolts for me, two Ford 9", and he did the differential in my C5.
