Hey Bill I'd lost my password so I finally had Chris send me a new one. Still have the car although I really need help its missing badly and I don't know where to go to get it fixed. It hesitates and loses power I think its either the fuel filter or a combo of bad plugs/wires ... but I'm about as mecanically inclined as a knat so if it doesn't start I'm out of options. I twas running great until a few weeks ago it started backfiring.
Well now that I've vented how are you? hows the car? still working in A2?

Long time no see! Hopefully it's just a bad tank of gas I'd trust any LS1 stuff with Kirk at Vector Motorsports but he's around Clinton Twsp. Not exactly around the corner from you. Take care!

 

Hey Rick, long time no hear. On the miss, it's most likely going to be bad gas, fuel filter, o2's, coils, plugs, plug wires, or the MAF. I'll be on layoff sometime in July, during changeover, PM me your #, if you can make it up here to my place, we can figure out the problem. I have extra stock MAF, 02's, and coil packs. Hey I've been thru Owosso a few times in the last 2 weeks for business and thouight of you. As for the car I hope to have a mechanic look at it this week. I think by the sounds if it a bad fuel filteer but we'll see. I've got about 33k on it now and haven't really done anything to it for 5-6 years since Bruce did the work on it. Sooo its probably due, it just doesnt get driven very much and when it does only for short trips. look forward to seeing all you guys one of these days.

 

hey rick, Id be happy to look at if for you at work if you dont want to wait till july to get it fixed. Im already thinking combo of fuel filter and maybe plugs fouled? Ive seen that happen to cars before, esp. cars with built eng.s and such where the tune isnt perfect and they foul out plugs. I can hook you up with my "performance car" discount at work which is $65/hour instead of our normal shop rates of $85/hour. I work at Sellers Pontiac/buick/gmc in farmington hills/novi area. not far from you at all. just shoot me a PM if your interested in having me look into this for you.
