Did a few things to car over weekend

Well first off I finally got around to yanking the old hvac. Dang there is a lot of stuff hidden behind the dash. I already had the ac out so I just merely completed the process. Engine bay looks WAY better and now I won't have those ugly plugged ac holes.

I also picked up a set of boxed lca's from stenod. Now I just gotta put those in when rodrigues (patty boy) welds up my bmr sfc's. I am seriously hoping these at least get my 60's into the 1.6 range since my best is only 1.70 (best of only two tries until et streets got a hole in them at the nats).

I figure the weight, weather, and a little bit better suspension along w/ a working tranny and no timing issues should net me a solid 11.7-11.8 pass on motor. Then comes a 75 shot and we'll see what happens. Wish me luck!

How long did it take you to pull the HVAC system out of you car? I think you live down the road from my buddy with a Grand Prix GTP.

He does (we do). Your buddy stopped by while Sean was in the teardown process. All told, it took the better part of two days, working 4-5 hours/day.
It came out really good. Patty boy and Sean did a good job on it.
(It still isn't going to help him beat his old man, though)

I remember when you car was up at Aggressive. It is a very clean car.

Thanks,
It's still pretty clean. The prior owner only drove it on rare occasions....like warm, sunny days. AC even works, too. When I asked the owner, he said "I don't know, I never tried it." :-)

Better rip the fenders, doors, hood and decklid off while you're at it. You'll need to, especially the doors or I'll have to blow them off. :-)
