Question Detroit/Macomb/Clinton Twsp guys anyone know a good powder coating place

im planning on either painting my C5 wheels or powdercoating for obvious money reasons i would like to paint them but i think i may save up the money to have them coated anyone know of any good places around the area that does powder coating?

I will third the Bill @ QC coatings, he does all of my stuff, and all the stuff we need done at Mach Performance, i actually have to go see him soon here, i owe the man som cash, tell him Jason said hello.

no way in heck white, no offense to anyone that has em white but im goin with a red and black theme, so they are gonna be black, im gonna email QC and see how much they would charge

OK then.... I keep hearing all these rumors of people powdercoating their C5 rims white, after I did mine. Getting me worried.

In that case, I'll recommend Bill too. He did mine as well. Nice guy, good prices, but very busy. Fortunately, I was in no hurry at the time.

there are so many cars running black wheels. why pay the high dollar for vette wheels only to cover them up? it just looks like your running spares.

i'd go with something a little lighter so they at least show somewhat. but if you like the spare look then go for it! it is very popular around here.

huh

i really didnt think that spares came in 18" 5 spokes, could just be me but havent seen any runnin around here, ill have to keep my eye out, the reasoni want to have them coated is cause... i want to.

I was thinking about getting a set of C-5 rims, and having them coated white, i think it would look cool, then i was gonna repaint my car Red with black stripes, i'm tired of the whole black car thing.
