converting 1/8 to 1/4??

Like many of you, I'm scratching my head wondering how to convert yesterday's times to something I can compare. Been racing since 1974 and I've never run the 1/8 for times.

The one 1/4 timed run I got was a PB (time and mph) so I'm happy, but I noticed my 1/8 in that run was slower than some of the timed 1/8 runs I made earlier.

How's this work anyway???

Thanks, Jason for a great day!

I was told that multiplying your 1/8 mile time by either 1.52 or 1.56 will get you pretty close to what your 1/4 mile ET would have been.

LTlhomer told me you its 1.55x 1/8th mile time. Thats roughly what it should be around.

Randy, what did you end up running with your vert? Curious to know how different it is with your setup and tranny vs my old one.
Hey, Dan! I ran the C3 at M8, not the PoserBird. My PB in that car (from M5 or so) was a 13.9x @ 100.xx.

Arrow I think...

It's right around 1.55 X your 1/8 ET.

Power adders lower it a bit, I figured mine at 1.53 X
7.20 = 11.02X on 75 HP shot.

Curious, what did that hoss truck run?
It's typical of the A4's to outhustle the M6, all things being equal, due to its ability to move reasonably well off the line.

I only got one 1/4 run in on the C3, but it was a PB!!

15.348 @ 88.68
