Did Kurt actually work on that car as well, or just drive it? That car looks like Wheel to Wheel caliber. Either way it's amazing!

Wheel to Wheel?? I've never heard of this shop . Only two shops that are good with LS1's that I've heard of around here are Detroit Speedworks and APE.

Wheel to Wheel is a custom fabrication shop that builds specialty cars. Kurt really did some great homework and the car is definitely a very trick piece of work.

Wheel to Wheel does VERY high end work , they build most of the GM owned race/show cars that you see at big events like the Black ZL1 4th gen, the yellow 4th gen, the 8 sec 4cyl Caviler, and the latest is an 8 sec turbo Monti carlo.
Kurt is the Head engine builder there and a hired driver for guys like GM and Ronnie Duke. They built the engine's for many of the Mark Steilow cars like the "MULE"and are very big into EFI installation and tuning & Turbo's also.
Just bumping into him is worth a tenth i heard one guy say 8-)

not inexpensive, but when you want the best ...

FYI...
Kurt and Dave @ wheel to wheel recently dyno tuned Matt Swindels new Fast EFI'd 406 sbc fogger nitrous mill going in his "new" black 1993 pontiac formula drag radial class car. It made impressive power on small small shot!....
....stay tuned Matts new car is a fly weight piece around 2900lbs.

Wheel to wheel is the "best" shop for efi in our area, next would be martin motorsports in my opinion

Yeah, I was looking at the pictures of that WS6 convertible. It looks to have an intercooler of sorts mounted in the back seat.

Martin Motorsports?? I never heard of that one either, I guess I need to get in the know.

I recently bumped into a guy at a local car show who used to be one of the owners of Wheel to Wheel until sometime just this summer. He was sporting his personal ride which was a C5 with a T-Trim. The thing was flat out amazing. 780hp in a road race car. The engine bay was cleaner and less cluttered than the factory made it. There was an integrated roll bar that hid completely behind the interior panels. Every last piece on that car was custom fabricated by the shop, including the mufflers and radiator! I can't even begin to describe the attention to detail on that car. According to the guy this car was the prototype for ones that were sold to Tim Allen, Jay Leno, and other big name celebrities. The engine package alone he told me was like $57,000 retail. The whole car cost over $100k to make. Definately made my day talkin to the guy. Really nice and spent more than an hour discussing the car with me.

Jeff, you don't think Moran Motorsports would come in second huh? I mean having John Meaney tune your car can't be that bad...
