I checked summit but they dont say what max lift these springs will accept is? do you know? they are for LT1 correct?

no you don't...can you say $465 lifters?

but hopefully with the CC cam XR280R, a good set of heads, 2800 stall and some gears...I'll be WELL into the 10s

I've been told thier good to .600 lift, and these were bought for a Gen small block, but they should fit a LT1 the same. I'll try to find out.

actually I need them for a 4.3, the cam is 533 total lift so they should work ill talk with the guy whos doing the heads and get his opinion tomorrow. ken

The 987s work just fine in an LT1 or any other SBC, and are good to around .610 lift depending on installed height.
