Cheapest Internet only service in the detroit area?
my friend just moved up there he can't find anything other than package deals and all he wants is the internet. anyone know of anything?

Cable would be comcast and it's pretty fast and reliable for 33 bucks.

Comcast isn't available in Livonia 
I'm getting it stuck in my *** for $55 a month from Brighthouse.

Did some searching. Brighthouse offers a "lite" service for 29/95 a month. Since its just me and all I do is surf the web, I'm calling today and downgrading.

the problem he is running into is that no one wants to do internet only. thats all he wants, no cable, no phone just net. does the ^^^ above do just internet?

Yeah, its 29.99 internet only. I'm calling tomorrow and downgrading, I'm sick of $55 a month. I don't download movies and music and I occasionally upload a few pics to photobucket. Other than that, I just cruise a few forums.
