Can't wait until Milan on the 15th

Very excited about the track rental. I can't wait to see how the Nittos hook on the strip. They do pretty good on the street at 30 psi. Hopefully they stick like super glue at 25 psi. Will adjust as needed based on track conditions.

Get your votes in, going to try to race IrocSS85 a few times after I get my car down the track a couple times and tire pressure and launch technique down. Hope to give his bad *** camaro a good run. His automatic is going to be a no brainer to launch, but I hope I can get one lucky run on him and stay with him and not have to run him down.

Previous trip to Milan sucked on street tires with too much air pressure in them. Wouldn't hook at all 2.33 60 times and 12.3 at 121.6 mph. Sucks, considering I put down 490 rwhp and 445 rwtq. At any rate I got the Nitto Drags now and a Hurst short throw shifter and more seat time. Going to try to avoid the 1/2 shift rev limiter and shift cleanly at 6700 rpms.

So the question is can I get him ?? Chris is a hell of a 1/4 mile racer and his car is setup for it. Mine is setup for the street but I hope I can surprise him on the big end once or twice. Hope to do a couple of roll races on the ride home so traction isn't an issue. I should have him no problem on the street but he will probably own me at Milan. Good luck Chris.

I have read some of your posts both here and on LS1Tech. Your car sounds very nice. I can't wait to see it in person.

I think Chris will get you out of the hole and your hope is to catch him on the top end. I think it should be a good race.

I am also waiting to line up against Chris. He has done all the work on my car since I bought it. I think our cars are about identical powerwise. We made almost the same numbers on the same dyno. His car is a little lighter than mine. This is the first time I am going to the track and should not have to worry about banging the 2-3 shift limiter. I was running 12.1 and having to lift off the gas totally then get back on the gas to get it to shift. I am hoping this is now fixed.

I can't wait to see what happens.

It's to bad no tracks have three lanes....... We could line all our cars up

At any rate my car is a 200 mph monster, not much threat on the 1/4 mile. LOL.

I can only imagine what your car would be like if you could get it to hook. If the track is prepped well that will help.

See you in the AM.
