Camaro SuperFest questions...

I got two questions..

I'm ganna be around the area when it's held so my #1 question is can I go there without participating and just look around for free? or is there a ticket price or do I HAVE to enter my car?

My 2nd question is whats the exact address of the college it's going to be held in? If you can't give the exact address than can you give me exact directions from the hotel? They gave the address of the hotel but not the college and I've never been to Michigan so I don't really want to get lost...

Thanks in advanced...

you dont have to have a camaro . you can just come look around. i think there is a small charge to enter but you can for sure go without bringing a car.

I dont have the address but its at Washtenaw community collage which is across from st Joe hospital. its easy to find. Take US23 the Geddes road exit East and follow the signs. and camaros, its between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. The Geddies road exit is a few miles north of the US23 I94 interchange. Its one of the Ann Arbor exits .

the camarosuperfest site may have more details.

isn't drivers class 10-12 dollars? you get a goodie bag with all sorts of coupons and other nice things as well as your allowed to park your camaro in the show. otherwise i'm pretty sure it's $3 just to spectate.

good time either way, since no one posted it.

If you do the show class, do you get anything regardless of whether you win or not, or are you literally throwing the entry fee (for show class) down the drain without getting anything in return if you lose?

Re: Camaro SuperFest questions...

to answer your question typically the top 3 get plaques with designated placement. some larger 4thgen and 1stgen classes may have as many as 10 plaques given as to not upset those who don't have the nicer cars. however, after 3rd place they only say award winner. personally getting something reguardless of winning is pretty pointless, everyone gets a little sticky dash plaque that says you attended the show which should be enough. trophies cost alot of money which push the entry fees higher and honestly how many times do you go to a show where someone has 20-30 little trophies around their car? half the time they aren't worth anything. enjoy the show for what it is, consider any possible trophies and the judging secondary, you'll have a better time. one thing is for sure the larger the class obviously the more strict the judges will be, they do have underside mirrors and they usually inspect pretty decent so if your planning on being judged spend some quality time cleaning but overall just have a good time.

Re: Camaro SuperFest questions...

Haha yeah, I'm going just to have a good time, originally I was planning on doing the show entry just for s***s and giggles, I was thinking if the drivers entry gets more for their money compared to the show entries only getting something if ya win, then I'd rather just do the drivers entry and have the money "better spent." Ah well, tho, I'll just do the show class for fun.

On a side note, I'm leading a caravan from SLP to Superfest Saturday morning, if anyone wants to cruise in us, let me know, the more the merrier IMO! We're meeting over at Costco by 696 and Gratiot.
