Its right off m-50 east of dundee. This guy sells all kinds of tube, box steel and cut it to any length you want. I'm not sure if he sells sheet metal but he's got all kinds semi trailers stocked with all kinds of steel.

 

When I was doing sheetmetal work (HVAC) I used to buy from Glomar in Ecorse.
They are in the phone book. They are on Mill at the tracks.

I don't know how thick of sheetmetal they sell tho. I used to buy a lot of 26/28 gauge and they had tons of that stuff.

You might try Gouth in Wyandotte too. They are on Fort just south of Eureka.

I'd like to check out your car some day. It sounds bad ***.

 

Try metal supermarkets in livonia. J&L industrial also might have what you need. Steven

 

There is a GREAT place in Ann Arbor called ASAP Source. They have anything and everything you could want.
